Meet Ben

BA Psych (Hons) MPsych (Clinical)

I am a Clinical Psychologist (Registrar) working in private practice in Coffs Harbour. I have worked across a range of clinical settings and bring extensive experience in working with forensic populations.

My path to psychology emerged from a long-standing interest in the psychological and psychospiritual processes involved in the development of the human personality. My approach is person-centred and grounded in the understanding of individuation as something that emerges through contact with inner and outer experience and serves as the central point around which the therapeutic process unfolds.

I view therapy as a space in which individuals can explore inner conflicts, develop deeper insight and self understanding, and strengthen their capacity to adapt to the demands of life, while promoting the maturation of the personality. This process often involves becoming aware of entrenched patterns of thinking and behaviour, while creating space for meaningful change and personal growth.

My practice is integrative, and relational, offering a grounded and respectful therapeutic environment where clients feel supported to explore challenges at their own pace.
